Crown Ballet®

Presents

The Nutcracker – An eternal season favourite

After last year’s successful tour, Crown Ballet® returns this year to the UK to enchant you with the delightful production of The Nutcracker.

Magic of classical ballet, performed live on stage

The Nutcracker – a charming and kind fairy tale is one of the jewels of Tchaikovsky’s repertoire. Prepare to enter a magical new world – the nutcracker in this ballet may be a handsome prince in disguise.

The original Christmas story is based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King written by E.T.A. Hoffmann. It tells the story of Marie, a sad little girl, whose godfather, Drosselmeier, gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve. In her lively imagination it turns into a prince and the magic starts…

This eternal seasonal favourite will be an unforgettable journey and an ideal introduction to audiences of any age to the magic that is classical ballet.

A wonderful treat full of glitter for the whole family!

The KVN Dance Company Production of Coppelia

See Coppelia as you’ve never seen her before!

Following sold-out performances in London, KVN Dance Company returns with Kevan Allen’s magical reimaging of the beloved classical ballet, Coppelia.

This retelling explores eccentric toy maker Dr Coppelius’ intent behind creating a life-size clockwork doll, Coppelia and the impact this has on his relationship with the community of villagers and on Swanhilda’s relationship with her fiancé, Franz.

Fusing classical ballet with contemporary dance and hip-hop, Coppelia features the full classical Delibes score imaginatively remixed by Rickard Berg and nominated for the Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for Outstanding Creative Contribution.

KVN Dance Company was founded in 2017 by renowned director and choreographer Kevan Allen, who has created work on stages around the world for a range of creatives including Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Trevor Nunn and Kylie Minogue.

The Company aims to bring a diverse mix of choreographic styles and dance forms together to create original and inspiring works that cross all genres of dance and introduce Kevan’s eclectic and innovative style to new audiences.
