Next Stagers and Up Stagers

Next Stagers meet every Wednesday morning from 10.30am until noon at the Marina Theatre.

Mary Hunt, who regularly attends the group, added “We certainly enjoy the practitioners who come and work with us – they have got wonderful ideas – they get us up on our feet and tap into our creative side.”

New for Autumn 2018 we have Up Stagers for Ages 18 – 49

The Marina Theatre are delighted to announce the formation of a brand new theatre and creative arts group for adults in and around Lowestoft.  The group will focus on exploring and discussing arts subjects, and trying them out in a relaxed and informal setting, with support from experienced professional artists and practitioners.  We are really keen for members to take ownership of the group and help develop it into something unique and exciting.

The first session will be on Thursday 27th September 2018 from 19.00-20.30 and then running every Thursday at the same time.  The sessions will be held at the Marina Theatre in our first floor space, accessible by a flight of stairs.

No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and curiosity.

The first session will be free and thereafter there will be a small weekly fee to cover refreshments and the group’s activities.

Members of the group will have access to specially discounted tickets and workshops throughout the year.
