Milkshake! Live – The Magic Storybook – meet our talented cast!

A show which takes audiences on a journey through their favourite fairy tales, featuring much-loved stories, will soon arrive at the Marina Theatre!
Milkshake! Live – The Magic Story Book will be performed at 11.30am and 3pm on Sunday, March 18.
Featuring your favourites Bob the Builder, Little Princess, Noddy, Toyland Detective, Fireman Sam, Shimmer and Shine, Pip Ahoy!, Winnie and Wilbur, Wissper as well as Milkshake!’s very own Milkshake!
With music, singing and dancing, Milkshake! Live, The Magic Storybook is the fourth nationwide live tour from Channel 5’s Milkshake!
“We cannot wait to be back touring the country with this exciting show, The Magic Storybook,” said Milkshake Presenter and Show Director Derek Moran.
“It’s a magical show full of audience participation. The Milkshake! audience will love the classic fairytale storylines, the songs and seeing lots of their favourite Milkshake! characters live on stage."
Set amongst Milkshake’s magical bookcase, this brand new live show is sure to amaze and delight! The Milkshake! cast will be singing songs and sharing stories that audience members, young and old, will know and love.
“It’s incredibly important that we are able to take Milkshake! to our audiences around the UK so that everyone can have the opportunity to experience the brand in an immersive way,” said Sarah Muller, Head of Children’s, Channel 5.
“Through our live tours, we can give families a Milkshake! event that they won’t find anywhere else, one where they can meet their favourite characters and presenters whilst enjoying a brilliant family day out.”

DEREK - Has performed on many TV shows including Top of the Pops, The Saturday Show, Ministry Of Mayhem, MTV, This Morning, The Late Late Show and Ireland AM.Derek is one of the main presenters of Channel 5’s leading children’s TV strand Milkshake! As well as presenting, Derek also directs and choreographs.
JEN - Joined Milkshake! in 2006 and in that time has also been heavily involved in both script writing and choreography. As well as presenting, Jen is also a talented voice artist; she stars as Mummy Bear, Mrs Wolf and Granny Wolf in Peppa Pig, Wendy Witch and Jen Elf in Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and narrated the first series of Milkshake! Monkey.
SITA - Born in Pembrokeshire, Sita Thomas is a creative practitioner working across theatre, television, film and in educational and community settings. The newest member of the Milkshake! team, Sita enjoys tap and jazz dance, travelling, and being active, particularly cycling and swimming.
OLIVIA - Born in Sale, Cheshire, Olivia and has been singing, acting and dancing from a young age. Olivia joined the Milkshake! team upon graduating and has enjoyed four years presenting, touring with Milkshake! Live ‘Come Out To Play’ and filming the latest Bop Box series. Olivia also ran the 2013 Virgin London Marathon for Team Milkshake! raising funds for the PDSA.
AMY- Originally from Hull and joined Channel 5 in 2009 as a regular presenter on Milkshake! Before Milkshake!, Amy worked extensively as an actress after graduating from the University of Hull, where she studied Drama. Amy started dancing at the age of 5 and achieved Advanced levels in ballet, tap, modern and jazz. Television credits include: Jenny Nelson in Emmerdale.
DAVID- David was born and raised in Surrey, where he started performing at the age of 5. David trained at Royal Holloway University of London, earning himself a BA(Hons) Drama & Theatre Studies Degree. As part of his course, David worked as a Musical Director in New York and Pennsylvania for 6 months on shows such as High School Musical, Godspell, and Annie Get Your Gun. The newest member of the Milkshake! team, David enjoys singing and song writing and his favourite animal is a Beagle dog!
