Hazel Clover

Hazel started her theatre working life at Norwich Arts Centre, the Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Norwich Theatre Royal in marketing, programming and operational roles before heading up theatre and arts services and capital projects for Ipswich Borough Council which included managing Ipswich Regent Theatre.

Hazel has also served as Head of Theatre Services for Leicester City Council and Wellingborough Council. Hazel currently works for Theatre Projects, an international planning and design practice specialising in performance building.  Hazel heads up strategic, feasibility and business planning services for the company’s London office, leading on projects around the world.

Hazel holds qualifications in psychology research from the Open University and a Master of Arts in Theatre Consultancy from the University of Warwick. Hazel is a member of the Institute of Theatre Consultants, UK Theatre, Opera Europa and the International Society for the Performing Arts. Hazel has been a Director and Trustee since the Trust was incorporated in 2011 and served as the Trust’s first Chair until 2014. Hazel lives in Beccles.
