Norman Cullingford

Norman Cullingford is a retired accountant who spent his business life being involved in major manufacturing and shipping capital projects and holding senior positions in large commercial companies before joining Norwich Theatre Royal.

He joined Norwich Theatre Royal when it was in a financial deficit and he help turn its financial position into a yearly surplus.

He raised the first 1.3 million pound that started off the 10 million pound refurbishment and the expansion of the theatre premises. He was fully involved in all aspects of planning and managing the projects.

He was also involved in the start of the The Garage in Norwich and the saving of The Norwich Playhouse.
