Mike Pinner
Mike was born in Salisbury Wiltshire where he attended the local grammar school before moving to Mansfield in Notts where he concluded his secondary education.
He trained as a secondary teacher at Coventry then at the University of Sussex gaining a Batchelor’s degree and later an MPhil through Norwich City College.
He taught in inner London, Salisbury and Lowestoft where he was head of Benjamin Britten High School for nine years. He undertook consultancy projects for the Specialist Schools trust (where he supported difficult schools in transition) and for Norwich City Council.
In retirement, as well as being a trustee for the Marina Theatre, he is chair and project manager for the Caistor Roman Project which is a community archaeology group conducting research around the Roman town at Caistor St.Edmund.
